iDeal Group AS, in cooperation with its partners, is inviting people to donate their old computers to children from Ukraine so that they can continue their schooling in Estonia.
- In particular, we are looking for equipment that is fit for use, both in terms of age and condition.
- A laptop charging adapter is also an essential accessory.
- Both PCs and Apple computers are welcome.
- We would prefer laptops as desktop computers are difficult to transport and use.
- Devices that cannot be repaired are used as a source of spare parts when repairing other devices. Those devices that cannot be repaired at all are recycled as electronic waste.
- The internal memory or hard drive of all devices is cleared of data, after which a fresh operating system is installed. Data storage media that cannot be repaired are destroyed and then disposed of.
- For Apple devices, be sure to log out of your AppleID account to disable Find My Device function.
